so fresh & so green

After days of rain and a guest appearance from summer yesterday, it was pleasant to finally greet a lovely warm spring day. So nice in fact that I decided to bust out this cute vintage dress that was in hibernation. It was actually a risky buy since I got it off of etsy and it was way too big for me. But the gorgeous color and adorable white polka dots were like a pair of pleading doe eyes begging me to buy it despite it being a tent on me. Luckily I was able to get it altered and fitted to me, and now it fits like a glove.

  2. @ Louise: Thanks! Because of the current trend of vintage inspired clothing, I'm pretty sure a dress like this will pop up on the market soon. Also, try looking up retro inspired clothing online (like bettiepageclothing.com, and uniquevintage.com) I've seen red polka dot dresses that kind of look like this one :)
