I've been pretty busy with random things lately, and so I haven't been able to set aside time to take photos of my outfits. Today was particularly busy since I needed to do some last minute mother's day gift hunting, and to those of you doing the same, god speed amigos! Because of the frenzy of today, I basically threw this outfit together and didn't really like it to begin with. But as the day progressed I found myself liking it more and more. It's probably because of the functionality. The stretch cotton skirt allows for a lot of movement and stays put when the wind blows, the collared shirt makes me feel put together, and the sandals add a little height without making it any less easier to run around. There is a ton of blue and usually I like to mix in a lot of colors, but for some reason playing with different shades of the same hue turned out better than I expected. The belt adds a pop of color, breaking up the blue. Lastly, tribal prints are great because they are interesting to look at. Like a maze for the eyes, with a comforting touch of predictable repetition. On with the Tribal Revival!
